Pickup person guide

Verify First. Release Second.

You are creating the first independent record of the vehicle's condition. Confirm the driver, vehicle, documentation, and photos before the vehicle leaves.

Take your own pickup photos

Whole Vehicle First. Details Second.

Stand far enough back to keep the entire vehicle in frame. Use steady, well-lit images and never rely only on the driver's phone.

Required pickup inspection photos showing front, rear, both sides, corners, roof, wheels, dashboard, interior, and two VIN labels
Take these views before the vehicle moves. Keep the original files on your phone or secure storage.
01

Four Full Views

Front, rear, driver side, and passenger side. Keep every bumper, wheel, roof edge, and mirror visible.

02

Four Corners and Low Bumpers

Photograph each three-quarter corner, then safely capture beneath the front and rear bumpers without entering an unsafe area.

03

Identity and Interior

Capture the windshield VIN, door-jamb VIN, dashboard, odometer, fuel or battery level, keys, and front interior.

04

Damage: Context, Then Close-Up

First show where the area is on the vehicle. Then take a clear close-up and describe it on the BOL before signing.

Five Checks Before the Vehicle Leaves

A few organized minutes now can prevent uncertainty later.

01

Driver Gives the Code

Ask the driver to state the gate or release code. Compare it privately with Fusion's message. Do not reveal the correct code first.

02

Match Vehicle and VIN

Compare year, make, model, color, windshield VIN, and door-jamb VIN with the order or BOL.

03

Watch the Driver's Inspection

Confirm the driver captures the full photo set, condition notes, signatures, and electronic or paper BOL.

04

Create Your Own Record

Repeat the required angles yourself. Keep original photos, a short walkaround video when practical, and relevant messages.

05

Read Before Signing

Add disagreements or limitations before signing. Keep a readable pickup BOL copy and do not sign blank or inaccurate condition fields.

Something does not match?

Stop Before Release and Contact Fusion.

Preserve the original photos and messages. Do not assign blame or authorize repairs through this guide.
