Delivery person guide

Inspect Before You Sign.

Inspect after unloading and before the driver leaves. Compare the pickup record, repeat the same photo angles, and write every visible difference on the delivery BOL before signing.

Repeat the pickup photo order

Same Angles. New Delivery Record.

Take delivery photos even when the vehicle appears unchanged. Matching angles make an honest comparison easier.

Required delivery inspection photos showing front, rear, both sides, corners, roof, wheels, dashboard, interior, and VIN labels
Photograph the vehicle after unloading and before it is moved, washed, repaired, or driven away when reasonably possible.
01

Start Wide

Front, rear, both sides, and all four corners with the entire vehicle visible and enough background to show the setting.

02

Repeat the Details

Roof and glass, wheels, lower bumpers, interior, dashboard, odometer, fuel or battery level, and both VIN labels.

03

Compare Before Signing

Compare the same panels and angles with the pickup photos and BOL. Do not depend only on memory.

04

Document Every Difference

Take one context photo and several close-ups. Write the exact location and approximate size on the BOL before signing.

Five Steps Before Acceptance

Keep the driver present until the inspection and paperwork are complete.

01

Choose a Safe, Visible Area

Inspect after unloading with useful light. Record limitations such as rain, darkness, dirt, ice, coverings, or unsafe access.

02

Confirm Vehicle and VIN

Match the vehicle and VIN to the order and pickup BOL before focusing on condition.

03

Repeat Every Required View

Take the same wide, corner, lower-bumper, roof, wheel, interior, dashboard, and VIN photos.

04

Write Differences Before Signature

Describe the panel, side, location, and approximate size. Add your disagreement before anyone signs.

05

Keep the Final Record

Retain a readable signed delivery BOL, original photos and video, pickup comparison, and relevant messages.
